Pika H3 Flex Pricing and Credits Explained

PikaH3Flex.app currently sells one-time credit packs rather than a recurring video subscription. You can use the credits directly in its browser studio, which is independent from and not endorsed by Pika Labs. The displayed pack price is tax-inclusive, and the current purchased-credit catalog has no expiry. The number of videos you can make depends on settings and revision choices, so a useful budget starts with a concrete job calculation.

The three current packs

PackPrice paidCredits
Starter$9.90990
Creator$29.902,990
Studio$79.907,990

All three currently use the same retail value of one US cent per credit. The larger packs provide a larger allowance, not an implied lower per-credit rate. Choose based on expected work rather than assuming a volume discount that is not present in the catalog. A short experiment and a batch of reference-heavy product scenes need very different allowances even if both use five-second outputs.

Understand the base resolution rates

For Text to Video and Image to Video, multiply output duration by the selected resolution rate. The current rates are 2 credits per second at 480p, 4 at 768p, 7 at 1080p, 8 at 2K and 16 at 4K. Optional prompt rewriting adds 4 credits to each request, regardless of the selected duration. The workspace calculates the amount before submission.

A five-second 480p clip with rewriting costs 14 credits. Five seconds at 768p with the same option costs 24, and fifteen seconds at 768p costs 64. A direct five-second 4K generation with rewriting costs 84. These examples help compare decisions within this studio; they are not the official provider's API rates and should not be quoted as a universal Pika price.

Budget successful attempts honestly

If you make three successful five-second 768p text clips with rewriting, the total is 72 credits even if only one is chosen for the final edit. A subjective creative rejection is different from a failed generation. The system cannot know that a completed clip does not match your taste simply because you decide not to use it. Plan an allowance for exploration rather than counting only final deliverables.

For the Starter pack, dividing 990 by 24 gives forty-one complete requests at those exact settings, with six credits left over. That is an arithmetic example, not a promise of forty-one finished films: changing duration, choosing references or making higher-resolution outputs changes the result. Use a small worksheet with attempts, cost per attempt and finishing decisions to describe the real project.

Reference mode uses higher rates

Reference to Video uses 6, 12, 15, 16 and 20 credits per second across the same five resolution tiers. At 768p, a five-second job without a video reference costs 60 before rewriting and 64 with it. The higher rate applies to the reference workflow, even when the supplied reference is an image rather than a video. It is not the ordinary image-to-video rate.

Including a video reference adds a fixed fifteen-second input allowance to the output duration. A five-second 768p reference job with video input and rewriting therefore costs 244 credits: twenty billed seconds times twelve, plus four. The allowance is this site's conservative input rule, not a measurement of your exact uploaded clip. Review the estimate carefully when adding or removing a video reference.

Draft finishing charges a difference

Draft to Video is intended for an eligible completed 480p or 768p draft. The current studio computes its upgrade from the difference between target and draft resolution rates, multiplied by duration. A five-second 768p draft upgraded to 4K costs 60 additional credits: sixteen minus four, multiplied by five. The upgrade request does not add the normal rewriting charge.

If that original text draft cost 24 credits including rewriting, one draft plus one upgrade totals 84. Drafting does not magically make a single approved version cheaper than direct generation at the equivalent final tier. Its budgeting benefit appears when you compare several inexpensive working versions and finish only the selected one. See the draft workflow for a three-version example.

What a failure refund means

When the provider reports a terminal failed generation, this studio restores the generation credits through its task flow. A delayed response or temporarily unavailable archive is not automatically a terminal failure. The task can still complete, and a finished provider video can be shown while the storage copy is retried. Do not submit a new job solely because a previous one has not appeared immediately.

A credit restoration is not the same as refunding a purchased pack to a bank card. These are separate operations. Check the task status and your balance if a failure is reported. If you need help, retain the task details so the relevant request can be located. Avoid sending private API credentials or payment-card information in a support description.

Taxes, expiry and account boundaries

New Checkout sessions explicitly mark catalog prices as inclusive, so the pack amount is not a tax-exclusive subtotal to which this integration adds another tax line. This describes the customer price behavior; it is not a claim that automated tax filing has been enabled. The purchased packs currently have no expiry, while promotional or separately granted credits can have different terms.

Credits purchased here are for this independent studio. They are not official Pika account credits and do not transfer automatically to another platform. Before buying, choose the workflow you actually need, review the live packs, and test your brief with the text guide or reference guide.
